What better way to wake up than to a bloody mary bar filled with all of the toppings. I set up this DIY bar last weekend at the beach with friends, here are the details so you can create your own!
{Prep} 45 mins
{Serves} 10 people (cut in half for 5-6 people)
{Ingredients}
- Plastic cups
- 2 1-Gallon jugs of Mr. & Mrs. Smith’s Bloody Mary Mix
- 1 handle of Vodka
- ice
- 9 serving containers (my 3 connected pails are from Target)
- Long tooth picks
- Straws
- Tabasco
- Salt
- Pepper
- Old bay
- 3 Lemons
- 3 Limes
- 1 jar green olives
- 1 jar pickles
- 1 package celery
- 1 block sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 package thick cut bacon
{Steps}
1. Cook the bacon on 350 in the oven for about 25 mins or until crisp.
2. Cut the: lemon, limes, and block of cheese. Wash and cut the celery into long pieces so it will stick out of the glass you are using.
3. Place each item in the serving containers and enjoy!!
Hint: We filled our cup half way with ice, poured in about 2 shots of vodka, then filled up the cup with Bloody Mary Mix. Use a tooth pick to gather all of your desired toppings.

Our wonderful friends invited us to their beach house for Memorial Day weekend. I wanted to be able to contribute to the gettaway so I decided to put together a little brunch… because “beaches” love brunch! 🙂 I have to say, this bloody mary bar was a blast! We had so much fun garnishing our drinks with all the fun trimmings, like BACON!! I can definitely see this bloody bar happening again real soon. This is such a fun idea for a summer cookout or BBQ! If you are interested in creating the bar outside, you can use an inflatable baby pool to keep all of the items cold by filling the pool with ice. If you have a chance to create a bloody bar, please share with me how it goes and what your toppings were!
Keep in touch,
Dani
